STAR, Hindustan Times roped in as principal sponsors of AAAI’s GoaFest

Work for AAAI’s GoaFest is on full swing and the association has recently roped in the STAR Network and Hindustan Times as principal partners. Red FM and Xerox come in as associate partners. In addition, exchange4media, Indya.com, Star 7827 and Showtime Events are the official promotional partners. The festival will be held on April 29-30.

As is known, the festival – first of its kind in India – has been planned on the lines of the Cannes Advertising festival. GoaFest will take place on a beach at Advillage in South Goa, near Park Hyatt. AAAI has planned two half-day seminars on creative aspects of the advertising business. Following these, the grand awards night would be at the Advillage on April 30.

An official communiqué quoted that the AAAI was targeting about 750 delegates drawn from agencies, marketing companies, media and the student community. The association is expecting more than 3,000 entries to be submitted and the creative jury, comprising eminent creative directors from the industry, has agreed to take part in the show. Goa’s Chief Minister, Pratap Singh Rane, will preside over the Inaugural Seminar on April 29.

Even as much is still work-in-progress in terms of the final details of the awards, it is clear that AAAI is going to make this one of the most prestigious and grand functions for the advertising fraternity in India and is leaving no stone unturned to achieve this.
