Following a multi-agency pitch, Star CJ Network, the home-shopping joint venture of STAR Group and Korea-based CJ (Cheil Jedang), has appointed Starcom Worldwide as its media partner. Also, as was reported by exchange4media earlier, BBH India is appointed as the creative partner. Industry sources peg the business to be “substantial”.
Sources informed that the account size also could not be ascertained at present, since Star CJ Network is a new entrant in the home-shopping business.
No official comments, from the agency or the client, were available at the time of filing the report. However, sources close to the development inform that the agencies have already begun work on the business.
