Soma Ghosh quits Castrol as VP Marketing India & South Asia

Soma Ghosh is moving on from her role as VP Marketing India & South Asia Castrol.  Ghosh has confirmed the news to exchange4media. 

She joined Castrol in October 2012, and led the marketing team, and was also part of the India management team and the Asia Pacific Marketing Leadership team.

Prior to Castrol, Ghosh was Marketing Director (Head - Marketing) and member of the Management Team of Nivea India, and was recruited to launch and build the global Nivea brand in India. She developed India-specific brand and marketing strategic roadmap working directly with Headquarter Marketing (Hamburg) and obtained BDF board approval for the same.

Ghosh also drove strategic vision for the brand across Nivea India to get cross functional alignment and consumer centered processes. 

Ghosh did her B.A. (Hon) in Sociology from Presidency College, after which she went on to do her MBA in Marketing from SP Jain Institute of Management & Research. 

Her previous stints include renowned brands such as Johnson &Johnson and Kaya (Marico Industries).
