From being scattered across Mumbai, all the different units of Starcom MediaVest Group (SMG) will now be under one roof at its new office – The Hive, G1, Akruti Corporate Park at Kanjurmarg (West) in Mumbai. ‘The Hive’ will now have over 150 employees.
On the move to a new office, Nikhil Rangnekar, Executive Director - West, Starcom India, said, “The main reason for shifting our location in Mumbai is to get all our units together. Therefore with all units coming under one roof, today, it is much faster to coordinate, create better integration, and as a result it will lead to faster turnaround.”
Gurpreet S Amrit, Deputy General Manager - Marketing, Bajaj Corp Ltd, observed, “All integrated units will certainly help any brand gain maximum advantage, and as a result it will also make a more cohesive unit.”
A party held to celebrate the move saw the entire Starcom team in full attendance, along with industry people such as LV Krishnan, CEO, TAM Media Research; Gurmeet Singh, AVP - Media Marketing, HT Media Ltd, and Bajaj Corp’s Gurpreet S Amrit, among several others.
SMG offers solutions in the area of out-of-home and ambient media (‘Navia’), in the entertainment and embedded marketing space (‘The Bridge’), digital and wireless marketing (‘Starcom IP’), sports and cause enabled marketing (‘Relay Worldwide’), activation and media supported amplification (‘ACE’), and small town and rural marketing (‘Xpanse’), ambient assets, navigational signage, and retail branding (‘Enhance’), and lifestyle marketing and communication (‘C’).
