Slew of wins for LMG Bangalore; biz worth Rs 50 cr added to agency kitty

Lintas Media Group (LMG) has been busy adding more businesses to its kitty, and the office in the midst of action this time is LMG Bangalore Collective. Some of the new wins include Anu Solar, Mantri Builders’ new mall, and the Deccan Herald Group. In addition, the agency has been re-empanelled for Canara Bank. Agency officials informed that the combined biz value of these wins was upwards of Rs 50 crore.

Commenting on the new wins, Joydeep Raha, VP and Head of LMG’s Bangalore Collective, said, “We have been in the midst of a lot of action in the second half of this year, led by client acquisition in diverse categories ranging from solar energy devices, banking, airlines and retail. Anu Solar is a manufacturer and marketer of solar heating devices with very aggressive plans of going national; the launch of the new mall of Mantri Builders, which will be the biggest mall in the city of Bangalore; and media releases for Karnataka Silks, amid other things.”

Raha informed that in the keenly fought out re-pitch for the Canara Bank empanelment, too, LMG was chosen as the favoured media agency partner. He further informed that LMG had also won the mandate for the Deccan Herald Group, which involved an ongoing media consultancy assignment apart from regular media duties. “An ongoing relationship with the international marketing division of Lenovo also contributed to the action at the Bangalore office,” he added.

He further said, “The combined business value is estimated at above Rs 50 crore. There is more excitement on the way, watch out this space for more action in the next two to three months.”

Sudha Natrajan, President and COO of Lintas Media Group, who recently shifted base to Delhi, said that she was glad that she isn’t missing out on any of the action, post her shifting base. “All this work on new business allows me to continue spending productive time at Bangalore, and that helps re-energise me,” she added.
