Sify to drop Net charges for corporate customers

The ISP is planning to pass on most of the benefit to its corporate customers while at the same time double the 20 MB international leased line circuits it is currently hiring from VSNL.

The company is currently working out the exact quantum of the price benefit it will offer the customers. About 60 per cent of the company's revenues come from corporate customers. The benefits would be maximum in Mumbai and Cochin, which are the fibre heads. But will progressively decrease in other locations depending on the additional cost involved in taking the circuit to other cities.
