Sudler & Hennessey, the healthcare communication company that is part of the WPP Group, has won two new businesses in India. The company plans to go stronger on their operations here with these new wins, which are pharmaceutical company Johnson & Johnson; and Galderma, the pharmaceutical company created out of a JV between Nestle and L’Oreal.
Asha Kapoor, Executive Director, S&H India, said that the win of the J&J business means that they will be involved with the launch of a new product in the area of surgery. “The product’s details are yet confidential, but we are working on the product brand across India at this point of time and later plan to expand it to China and Russia as well. So we are not just developing it for India, but for beyond too,” said Kapoor.
“We will have a multi-country approach and are currently testing concepts for the campaign. We are identifying different requirements. The approach would include a great deal of medical education and interactive divisions, as also the 360-degree communication,” she added.
On the other hand, the Galderma business is for an Asia-Pacific campaign. “For Galderma, we are working on a brand called Cetaphil Cleansers, a skincare product. We are developing it for eight countries, including doctors, pharmacy chains and consumers. We will be working across multi-target audiences and providing communication to doctors and consumers, as use pharmacy outlets for outdoor advertising,” Kapoor further said.
