Seagull Advertising has appointed Zahid Gawandi as the agency’s Chief Operating Officer. Gawandi has a breadth of experience in advertising both on the agency side as well as on the client side, including strategic planning, product launches, consumer research, brand architecture and new business pitches.

Prior to joining Seagull, Gawandi served as Chief Marketing Officer at Destimoney. For the most part of his career, Gawandi filled numerous senior executive positions with companies like Reliance & Spice and ad agencies like Dentsu & Hakuhodo Percept. He was chosen for the ‘Corporate Communication Leadership Award’ by Lokmat Banking, Financial Services & Insurance Awards in June, 2014.

He will be charged with promoting a culture of high-performance and continuous creative improvement while maximizing the value for the agency and its clients.
