To develop and design the site, the company has roped in Satyam Infoway. The site was launched in September 1999, to provide information and navigation to its clients.
To relaunch the site, the company will use new technology methods which will increase the speed of downloading, accessibility and navigation. The company plans to use both Flash and non-Flash technology to produce effective designs.
As for its online advertising strategy Ford has recently initiated banner display on popular sites which include Satyam online and Rediff.com. The company had recently launched an online contest on Hungama.com to promote it’s entire range of cars.
