Sandesh terminates agreement with Ad Space Mart

The Chairman & Managing Director of The Sandesh Ltd., Falgunbhai C. Patel, has denied as “false and misleading” the news that Ad Space Mart has been appointed as the media representative of Sandesh for various markets spread over 13 states in India.

Soon after the report `Gujarati daily Sandesh appoints Ad Space Mart as media representative’ appeared on Saturday, May 6, 2006, in exchange4media.com, Sandesh terminated the agreement.

Patel has affirmed in a statement to exchange4media.com that “the statement made by Sanjeev Singhai, Chairman, Ad Space Mart, stating that Gujarati Daily Sandesh has appointed Ad Space Mart as Media representative for various markets spread over 13 states of India is utterly false and misleading.

Sandesh had entered into an agreement only for the smaller towns with Ad Space Mart, which was on retainership and this agreement has already been terminated.”

He added that Sandesh’s offices are functioning all over India independently.

Patel also forwarded a copy of the ‘termination of agreement’ mail sent to Singhai. It read: “This refers to our agreement entered into of dt. 26th April 2006. The same has been terminated with immediate effect, which please note.”
