Ad Space Mart has been given the responsibility of being the sole media representative for all the print publications of Sahara. An agreement to this effect was signed between Sahara India Mass Communication Ltd and Ad Space Mart recently.
As part of the agreement, Ad Space Mart will take care of the national and retail advertising revenue generation for Sahara across the country. Sahara has five different print publications – Rashtriya Sahara, a Hindi daily with three editions; Sahara Samay, a weekly Hindi newspaper; Sahara Times, a weekly English newspaper; Almi Sahara, a weekly Urdu newspaper; and Rashtriya Sahara Urdu Roznama.
The agreement was signed between C B Singh, Principal Officer, Sahara, Sanjeev Singhai, Chairman, Ad Space Mart, and Kunjesh Parihar, Managing Partner; Ad Space Mart, in the presence of Sahara’s core team members – Prabhat Dabral, Vice President-News, and Govind Dixit, Group Editor, Sahara.
Commenting on the tie-up, Singhai said, “We have come quite far since we announced this project last year. It’s an important breakthrough for Ad Space Mart, and both of us (Sahara and Ad Space Mart) feel that our expertise will help Sahara achieve its goals.”
On the challenges ahead, Singhai was of the opinion that the challenge would be to double the revenue of the Sahara group.
