Rx Awards 2007: Indian agencies bag two Golds and seven Silvers

Winners of the Rx Awards 2007 have been declared and India has put up a good show at the Awards, which recognises excellence in the field of healthcare communication.

Sudler and Hennessey India, which is a joint venture between WPP and Rediffusion DY&R, has won a total of four metals (two Golds and two Silvers), besides 21 ‘Awards of Excellence’. The agency’s work on the poster ad titled ‘Calender Cigarette’ (Category: Special Promotions) and on a public service print ad titled ‘Money’ (Category: Public Service), fetched the agency two Gold metals, while their campaigns titled ‘Don’t Drink and Drive’, and ‘Pick the Best’ won two Silver metals.

Six entries of McCann Healthcare, Mumbai, were recognised under the 'Award of Excellence' category. The agency's campaign titled 'Bar-Code Tree' won a Silver (Category: Fractional Page).

Mudra Lifestyle and Health had nine ‘Awards of Excellence’. The agency also bagged two Silvers for their campaign on ‘Breast Cancer’.

Sorento Health Communication and Publicis India Communications, too, bagged a Silver each for their campaigns titled ‘Prayer’ and ‘Save the Breast’, respectively.

In all, Indian agencies’ haul included two Golds, seven Silvers and 54 ‘Awards of Excellence’.
