Rosebys Interiors appoints Soha Ali Khan as brand ambassador

Actress Soha Ali Khan has been roped in as brand ambassador for Rosebys Interiors India Ltd, a home decor and lifestyle products company. The company has also announced its rollout plans for India. Rosebys would be bringing in world class retail experience and a contemporary range of products for the modern Indian woman’s home.

Nikhil Sen, Director, Rosebys, said, “We are delighted to have Soha Ali Khan as our brand ambassador. Soha represents today’s woman – who is aspiring, independent and is willing to experiment. I believe that Soha has a similar essence, which is completely in line with Rosebys’ image and her endorsement will help in further enhancing and boosting the image of the company. With her on board, we the can communicate the concept behind Rosebys to our target audience in the best possible way.”

Rosebys is launching its exclusive chain of stores this month, starting with Punjab and West Bengal with 10 stores in each state.

Aloke Banerjee, CEO, Rosebys, said, “The home furnishings and décor market in India is pegged at Rs 10,000 crore and is largely dominated by unorganised players and is growing at 10 per cent annually. We are here to bridge the gap between the luxury and low end market present in the home furnishings and décor market currently. Rosebys aims at providing affordable premium products to its customers. We have a wide range of products to suit every aspiring woman. We will be opening 150 stores in the next six months.”

On her association with Rosebys, Khan said in a press release, “I am very excited to be a part of Rosebys, it’s a brand I can relate to. They have something completely new and fresh to offer to customers and their offerings hold great allure.”

Rosebys is one of UK’s largest home textiles retailer, which operates over 300 home furnishings stores across the UK. It is expanding its footprint beyond the UK. Apart from India, the company is planning to launch the Rosebys brand in European and Asian markets, including Poland, Romania and Vietnam, in the coming months.

The Sanjay Dalmiya-led Gujarat Heavy Chemicals Ltd, which is into manufacturing soda ash and textiles, had acquired Rosebys in July 2006.


Kranti Gada joined the family business at Shemaroo in 2006 after a successful stint of over two years in marketing at Pepsi Co. She has been associated with the company for 12 years.
