Road shows to add brand value to India Label Show

A number of road shows in major metros beginning with the one in Mumabi next month will kick off India Label Show 2002, the first ever exclusive event for the labeling and converting industry in India to be held in Mumbai from November 22-24.

The show focusing on printing, publishing, packaging, labeling among other industries, heralds the coming of narrow web technology to India and the quantum improvement in the packaging decoration with accent on brand building and product identification.

India Label Show to be organised by Label Expositions (P) Ltd., will bring together over 80 Indian and foreign exhibitors offering latest technologies, machines, materials and services. It will showcase the latest narrow web presses, barcode printers and scanners, hand labelers, die-cutting machines as well as web guides and inspection systems.

Some of the best ink making companies, leading label printers and hologram manufacturers will exhibit their wares. Concurrently with the exhibition, Labelcon 2002, an international conference on label and labeling, coordinated by Asian Packaging Federation and Hologram Manufacturers Association of India will be held.

The exhibition and the conference are designed to benefit the CEOs, general managers, R&D managers, production managers, journalists and print technologists. According to organisers of India Label Show 2002, pre-event meets/road shows are being organised in Mumbai, Delhi, Bangalore, Chennai, Ahmedabad to create awareness about India Label Show and to promote local platforms for interaction between the label manufacturers and suppliers on one hand and the label users and manufacturers on the other hand.
