It’s a twin success for RK Swamy BBDO, Delhi. The agency has won the creative duties for Suzuki Motorcycle and My FM. The collective billings from the two businesses is in the region is Rs 60 crore. The Suzuki Motorcycle business is alone worth Rs 50 crore. Suzuki Motorcycle India is a subsidiary of Suzuki Motor Corporation, Japan. My FM is a part of Synergy Media Entertainment Ltd.
The incumbent agency for both the accounts is Grey Worldwide. The media agency for Suzuki Motorcyle is Brand Serve.
RK Swamy BBDO was earlier handling the creative duties of Access 125 Suzuki scooters. Now the entire Suzuki Motorcycle portfolio including Zeus and Heat 125 as well as new product launches will be handled by RK Swamy BBDO.
Atul Gupta, VP-Sales & Marketing, Suzuki Motorcycle India, said, “The ad spend per year is Rs 50 crore. The reason we gave the business to RK Swamy BBDO is that we wanted to synergize the entire creative business with the same agency. They were already handling our scooter portfolio. We felt this way they would understand the Suzuki culture better.”
Confirming the news, an elated Sunil Kukreti, VP, RK Swamy BBDO, said, “We are delighted to win these new businesses. We will be working on the entire communication package for Suzuki Motorcycle India brands and also MY FM. These two wins will further strengthen our solid growth for this year.”
Kureti informed that for both the clients, “we will be a 360-degree national multimedia campaign that would include print, TVC, outdoor hoardings, Internet and BTL activities like banners, mailers, etc.”
Regarding MY FM, Kukreti said, “We won this business because of our sound strategy and exciting creative work.”
