RK Swamy BBDO to float healthcare and social & marketing division

The Rs 220 crore advertising agency, RK Swamy BBDO, will float two new divisions this year - healthcare and social & rural marketing. The agency has already started operations in both the areas, separate divisions were not floated till now.

Under the social & rural marketing division, the agency plans to take up projects that are related to social causes. This will also include ringing in corporates to contribute for a social cause.

The agency is closely working with various departments of the government. It is currently working on two projects under this division: Child & women health for the department of health and rural education for the ministry of education.

In the area of healthcare and pharmaceuticals, RK Swamy BBDO has started work with two pharmaceutical companies in Hyderabad --Aurobindo Pharma and Biological Evans.

The agency is currently pursuing talks with a few more pharma and healthcare companies.

The agency's existing divisions include Hansa Vision (a television software outfit), Hansa Research Group, Customer Relationship Management, public relations and events and Hansa Zone (media portal).

RK Swamy BBDO expects to achieve a 20 per cent growth rate this year thanks to large extent to these new divisions. The agency registered 17 per cent growth last year.
