RK Swamy BBDO on a roll, bags six awards at Global Awards competition

RK Swamy BBDO has swept the Global Awards competition with six of the eight awards that went to India. In the final round of judging for the Global Awards, RK Swamy BBDO managed to steal the show with 80 per cent of the wins from India.

"This includes the prestigious Global Award Trophy for Cremaffin, which had the headline "No.1 for No.2", and a baseline which said "No more constipation". Cremaffin posters, which showed a choke remover and an oversized basketball forcing itself out of the ring, picked up finalist certificates. The biggest hit was the 'Burning Lungs Ad' for World No Tobacco Day, which was done for IndusInd Bank, which won in the categories of Outdoor Announcement, Print Announcement and Art Direction. This spectacular feat at the Global Awards has the agency all revved up and raring to go for more," said Chandrashekhar Vaidya, Senior Creative Director, RK Swamy BBDO.

The agency of late has been making its presence felt with high decibel work at various international competitions. The agency has had major wins at the New York Festivals, Golden Awards of Montreux, One Show Rx and the Night Of the Living Dead held in New York recently. With these wins, the total number of international awards the agency has won stands at a whopping 22.

Said Vaidya, "The agency's thinking procedure is aligned towards global environment and we are constantly trying to achieve the international standards and maintain the international quality."
