RK Swamy BBDO’s Media Direction unit has set up Digital Direction to help its clients connect better with the growing audience in the digital world. The new group has roped in several experienced personnel, and has aggressive investment plans to emerge a leader in the space.
Commenting on the development, Srinivasan Swamy, CEO, RK Swamy BBDO, said, “We are serving many clients in this space already. As we don’t do anything in half measures, we have been studying this space for some time. We are making a deep commitment in creating an operation with scale and top-in-class service. Our benchmarks are global. We aim to make a difference in this space.”
Digital Direction will offer services like development of digital media strategies, integration of offline and online media, audience tracking on online media, initiatives for online customer dialogues, planning and buying and even creation of online media properties.

Digital Direction has already recruited Sohail Khan (from Tribal DDB) as Manager, Digital Media. More recruits have been identified and the group is expected to grow rapidly in the coming months.
