The last week of March, following a colourful Holi weekend; must say the days are getting hotter. So, here I am, welcoming the scorching summers.
As for my Reporter’s Diary, can’t deny the fact that I was struck by the Monday blues in the start of the week, but as the day progressed, got used to the blues. Post the blues, there has been no time to breathe, and it has definitely turned out to be an impactful week with the FICCI Frames 2011, being held in Mumbai from March 23 to 25.
The event has always been a learning experience for all of us. For me as a reporter, this has been my fifth year covering the Frames. And looking back at my past years, I can only comment, saying “Time flies”! My last four years of Frames went in chasing Yash Chopra, Chairman, FICCI Frames. It was a challenging task as I was competing with all media who wanted Chopra’s sound bytes. But I succeeded, and it’s like a rush of adrenaline.
Well as the curtains fall down on FICCI Frames, the first week of April has more in store for us. It’s the GoaFest 2011. A time for sun and sand during April summers. The temperature has just increased and the mercury is still rising. The heat is on!
