Rediffusion DYR has added some more business to its kitty. The agency has won the accounts of Reliance General Insurance and Kaya Skin Care. The Reliance account has been pegged by industry sources at a size of around Rs 15 to 20 crore. On the other hand, the Kaya account is pegged at a size of Rs 8 to 10 crore.
Interestingly, the incumbent agency for Reliance happened to be Rediffusion’s own sister concern, Everest Brand Solutions. The Kaya account moved to Rediffusion from ANC. Kaya had called in for a pitch where both Bates and Contract participated.
Although Reliance General Insurance did not really call for a creative pitch, they did carry out a selection procedure, wherein Rediffusion emerged as most competent in bringing together a relevant team of people with versatile experiences. The media duties for Reliance continue to remain under Mudra’s Optimum Media Services (OMS).
“Reliance General Insurance has a great leadership in marketing. That will help us change the business paradigm with some path breaking work,” observed Bimal Nair, Head of Rediffusion DYR Mumbai.
Prashant Godbole, Creative Head of Rediffusion Mumbai, added, “Reliance General Insurance has already raised the creative benchmark in the category and we wish to take it further.”
Kaya Skin Clinic has awarded the creative duties to Rediffusion, after a pitch was called, in which Bates and Contract had also participated. The media duties for Kaya will continue to be handled by Madison.
Nair added, “Kaya Skin Clinic gives us a presence in retail, personal care and lifestyle. This win is special as we won it using our structure and philosophy on how ‘small is big’. The team which worked on the pitch will be the team that will continue working on the business as well.”
These two business accounts follow the agency’s account victory with Animaster in Bangalore.
