Jewellery brand Popley Gold Plaza has signed Rediffusion DY&R as its creative agency. While Quadrant has done some creative work for Popley Gold Plaza, this is for the first time that Popley seriously considered signing a creative agency to advertise the brand.
Varuna D Jani, Executive Director and Partner, Popley Gold Plaza, said, “I have seen the fantastic work that Rediffusion has done for DNA and decided to sign the agency for advertising our brand. There was no other agency that pitched for this business as we have never believed in advertising. However, it is important because of the competitive market and I heard that Rediffusion is one of the top agencies.”
Popley Gold Plaza will soon be celebrating its 10th anniversary and this is also one of the reasons that it decided to start advertising.
Ajay Verma, VP, Rediffusion DY&R, said, “We are going to re-launch the brand through a mix of conventional and unconventional advertising mediums and ideas.”
While this deal is still in its initial stages, one thing Jani is excited about is the out-of-the-box ads that Rediffusion will create for Popley Gold Plaza.
