Rediff Radio to air Hindi, Tamil songs in US

Rediff.com India Limited, has announced ‘streaming media’ initiative to offer a selection of Indian songs in the US on Rediff Radio. The service is being provided to Rediff.com users by obtaining licenses from Phonographic Performance Limited (PPL) under the aegis of the Indian Music Industry Association (IMI) and the Indian Performing Rights Society (IPRS).

Both PPL and IPRS are copyright societies registered with government of India. Rediff users in US can now personalise a ‘Playlist’ from a selection including Bollywood and Tamil song.
