Reckitt Benckiser’s global media pitch is underway, confirm industry insiders to exchange4media. The review is said to include both, traditional as well digital media duties.
According to Nielsen, Reckitt Benckiser’s traditional media spends were estimated to be more than $370 million in 2012 only in the U.S.
ZenithOptimedia is handling the media duties for the FMCG major in India currently. The agency won the account on the back of a multi-agency pitch from incumbent agency MPG, who handled the brand’s duties for seven years before losing the account to ZO in December 2010.
The FMCG major is said to complete this global media review by end of 2013.
