Raymond Group moves Parx account to Dentsu Marcom

The Raymond Group has moved the advertising account of its casual wear brand, Parx, to Dentsu Marcom, Mumbai. Dentsu has been handling the Group’s Park Avenue brand for the last one year. While Ambience Publicis was handling the creatives for Parx, Starcom was handling the media. The account size couldn’t be ascertained at the time of filing this report.

Reacting to the development, Dentsu India, Chairman, Sandeep Goyal, said, “It’s always such a joy to get additional brands from clients. In the last one year, we have enjoyed creating some really visible and impactful advertising for Park Avenue. We hope to bring the same commitment, zeal and creative goodness to Parx.”

Dentsu Marcom, Executive Director, Rajesh Aggarwal, said, “Parx is a trendy and vibrant brand. The new product range and the increasing retail presence of Parx through self-owned outlets, will take the brand to the forefront of casual wear in India. We at Dentsu Marcom hope to support the larger vision of the Raymond Group on this.”

Meanwhile, work on the Spring Summer 2006 campaign for Parx is already underway and the new ads will start to appear from next month.
