Ravi Kant elected as ASCI Chairman

Ravi Kant, Executive Director, Commercial Vehicles Business Unit, Tata Engineering, has been elected Chairman of the Advertising Standards Council of India (ASCI) at the first meeting of the newly-elected board of governors of the Council.

Ravi Kant is the immediate past chairman of the Audit Bureau of Circulation and is currently Chairman of the National Readership Survey Council and a council member of the Indian Society of Advertisers.

The other members of the board of governors include Arun Adhikari (Hindustan Lever Ltd), Sam Balsara (Madison Communications Pvt Ltd), Sandeep Goyal (Zee Telefilms Ltd) and Dorab R. Sopariwala (Telesis Management Services Pvt Ltd).
