Brand-comm has taken up a unique initiative to launch a course in brand management. Called ‘brandware’, the course will run for eight weekends starting November 21, 2009, and will unlock many secrets to successfully managing a brand. Usually these principles are taught only at the best B-schools. This is for the first time, a powerful, comprehensive course in brand management, taught by B-school professors and industry professionals, is being offered. This certification course will help marketing, sales and communication professionals to meet the growing demands of the various businesses they are aligned to.
The course will be anchored by R Sridhar, CEO, brand-comm. Commenting on the initiative, he said, “Through the several years I’ve spent in brand consulting and teaching at management schools, I’ve always looked out for an intensive yet extensive course on brand management, which I could ask my colleagues and friends to attend. Finally, we decided to put a course together, which would pack in the essential nuggets of the disciplines of branding, delivered by the most eminent B-school professors.”
Besides Sridhar, the faculty will include people from leading B-schools and eminent brand experts from various industries.
Professionals with over one year’s experience can apply for the course. The teaching would comprise case studies, industry interactions, presentations and projects. It will be conducted at 68, Transpade Towers, JNC Road, Koramangala, Bangalore.
