Quasar Media has won the interactive advertising duties for online movie rental service, Seventymm.com, which began its operations in early March this year from Bangalore.

Commenting on the development, Seventymm COO, Subhanker Sarker, said, “We are really happy to give the online advertising business to Quasar Media. Their expertise in understanding online business models was what made us opt for them, besides we liked their approach of understanding our business closely and then planning online strategy for us. We, on our part, are also willing to be accountable for customer acquisition through the online marketing efforts and the goal they are willingly to set up.”

Sarker added, “We have not allocated a fixed budget for online advertising right now, but we are sure it will be the biggest marketing vehicle for us going forward. Quasar Media will work on the entire online advertising initiative for us like search engine marketing, targeted advertising across horizontals and verticals, etc.”

He further informed that the target audience for Seventymm was young earning couples in Bangalore and Delhi. Hence, Internet became very crucial medium to reach them.

Today, people who want to enjoy an original DVD/VCD at home with their family are the ones who are surfing the Internet for information and communication. So there is a perfect fit. We want to make the Internet medium work well for them and partner with them in their success story.”
