Quadrant strengthens creative team; adds two new accounts to its kitty

Quadrant Communications has beefed up its creative team with the appointment of Viren Kamdar as Executive Creative Director. The agency has also recently bagged two new accounts – Peninsula Land Ltd and Scandic Food India Pvt Ltd. Rajan Narayan, President and Chief Executive, Quadrant Communications, has confirmed the developments.

Kamdar will work closely with National Creative Director Paul Menacherry. The two will look after all the creative operations across India and report to Rajan Narayan. Kamdar and Menacherry have worked together before at McCann Erickson.

Kamdar brings with him 15 years of experience and has been associated with agencies like TBWA\India, McCann, Grey (then Trikay Grey), and Saatchi & Saatchi.

Meanwhile, elated with the two new wins, Narayan said, “The communication mix for both the businesses would focus on below the line and direct marketing activities, besides engaging consumers via web and retail.”

Real estate company Peninsula Land Ltd is known for its concept-based architecture in the commercial, retail and residential sectors.

Scandic Food India Pvt Ltd is a majority-owned unit of Good Food Group. The Group had acquired the Sil processed foods business of Marico Ltd in March 2008. Under the Sil brand, Scandic Food sells its processed food products comprising jams (mixed fruit), specialities (baked beans in tomato sauce, sweet corn cream soup), and sauces (soya sauce, green chilli sauce, red chilli sauce, mayonnaise). The business is largely based out of Pune.
