Purple Focus, a full service advertising and marketing communication solutions agency, has been aggressively fueling growth plans. The agency has roped in Arvind Pal Singh (Candy) as National Creative Director. The appointment comes in the wake of a major restructuring programme that the agency had undergone recently.
Singh will be based out of Delhi, but will lead the teams at Indore and Mumbai as well.
Commenting on Singh’s appointment, Ashish Upadhyaya, Executive Director, Purple Focus, said, “Candy is an excellent new addition to our creative team. His strong creative leadership and rich experience of handling number of brands will help Purple Focus step on its growth plans.”
Speaking on his new assignment, Singh commented, “Purple Focus as an agency is connected with the street realities of Real India. They intuitively understand what connects with people. With a brilliant team by my side, simple, committed people with loads of enthusiasm, Purple focus will go places I’m sure of that. Just one month into the company, we have already started pitching aggressively and winning too. I think all that is required are a few minor course corrections and little bit of mentoring the team, before we challenge the big daddies.”
Singh brings with him 15 years of rich experience and expertise on the table. He has held leadership positions with agencies such as Rediffusion Y&R, Lintas and his last stint at Capital Advertising Delhi, where he was Creative Director. In his career span, he has nurtured brands like Maruti, LG, Electrolux, GPI, Nestle, and Spice Telecom, among others.
Besides Candy’s appointment, the agency has also gone for some internal restructuring. Creative Director Manoj Trivedi has been assigned the role of Executive Creative Director.
Purple Focus offers 360-degree marketing communications solutions and has offices in Delhi, Indore and Mumbai. Their client portfolio includes Eicher Motors, Rotomac Writing Instruments, Promart (discount store chain from Provogue India), Tata Indicom (six circles), Dainik Bhaskar, DB.com, Lohia Sterlinger and MP Tourism, among others.
