Pranav Harihar Sharma joins Rediffusion Y & R as ECD-North and West

Rediffusion Y & R has announced the appointment of Pranav Harihar Sharma as Executive Creative Director, North and West.

Sharma has won more than 100 National and 50 International advertising creativity & effectiveness awards like, Adfest, Newyork Festivals, London International Awards, Cannes Lions, Goafest, EFFIEES, EMVIES, so far.

This year, Sharma was chosen as one of the Adfest-Fabulous Four Directors. The short film, ‘Watermelon’, written & directed by him was selected in this year’s Cannes Film Festival 2015- Short Films Corner.

In the year 2011 he was named as Ad club Mumbai’s Young Achiever. He won the First Cannes-Yahoo International Big Idea Chair for the short animation film ‘You Vs. Him’, written & directed by him, for green awareness.

Other major campaigns to his credit include Oppo Mobiles launch, I Know & Nikipedia, MTS-Always On and Voice Campaign, Amway-Attitude Launch Campaign, Nokia Dual Sim India Launch, Pizza hut 50th Anniversary Campaign, Fashion Bazaar launch, Big Bazaar theme Campaign, Godrej product launches to name a few.

In his 15 years of experience in advertising, Sharma has worked across agencies such DDB Mudra, JWT, Linen Lintas and Rediffusion Y & R. He has done notable work on brands such as Crocin, Sensodyne, Fox Life, National Geographic, Big FM, VLCC, Indian Army, Epic Channel, Kerala Tourism, Dabur Vatika Shampoo,, Tupperware, Oppo Mobiles, DLF, Panasonic India,, Volvo Cars, Celkon Mobiles, GPI (Four Square Cigarettes) MTS, Amway, GPI (Tea City), Amway, Nokia, Pizza Hut, Walmart, Hero, Sony, Timex, Godrej, Future Group, Emami, Femina, LIC, Star News,Tata Motors, Bank Of Maharashtra, Economic Times.

 Speaking on his appointment, Pranav Harihar Sharma says, “This is actually dual 'Home coming' for me. Apart from coming back to Rediffusion group, where I have worked earlier both in Mumbai & Delhi Offices, I am coming back to Advertising too after a real tiny break. When Rahul and Dhunji offered me to work for both Mumbai & Delhi offices along with the flexibility to pursue my 'Film-direction', it was more than an 'ideal' job for me.

Sharma holds an MBA degree and is a regular speaker in communication Institutes and workshops.
