A high power jury chaired by Sam Balsara, Chairman and Managing Director, Madison World, meets today to finalize a ranking of 50 women who have redefined the dynamics of power and influence in the Indian Media, Advertising & Marketing domain this year. This is the fifth year of the ‘50 Most Influential Women’ list brought out under the aegis of IMPACT from the exchange4media Group to recognize the remarkable achievements of women in the industry.
Besides Jury Chair Sam Balsara, the jury comprises Ambi MG Parameswaran, Advisor, FCB Ulka, Arvind Sharma, Chairman, Cheetahsoft Technologies, I Venkat, Director, Eenadu, Rohit Gupta, President, Sony Pictures Networks, Sandeep Goyal,Chairman, Mogae Group, Shireesh Joshi, COO, Strategic Marketing Group, Godrej Industries, Sunil Gautam, Founder & Partner, Pitchfork Partners Strategic Consulting LLP, Timmy Kandhari, MD, Sapphire Professional Services Pvt. A shortlist of nominees comprising women achievers in the Media, Marketing and Advertising domain is being presented to the jury. This includes nominations received after a month-long campaign inviting entries online, relevant names from last year’s list as well as new achievers in the industry. The jury will evaluate the nominees on a set of pre-decided parameters to come up with the final ranking ofIMPACT’s 50 Most Influential Women, 2016.
Last year, Kirthiga Reddy, Head of Facebook India, led the list of IMPACT’s 50 Most Influential Women. Rama Bijapurkar, Market Strategy Consultant and Business Author, ranked second, followed by Tanya Dubash, Executive Director & Chief Brand Officer, Godrej Group.
