Platinum Media bags Rs 25-cr media business of NDTV Imagine

General entertainment channel NDTV Imagine has appointed Platinum Media, the media brand of Madison Group, to handle its media mandate. The business moves from Maxus. An official from the channel has confirmed the development.

Industry sources expect the business to be easily upwards of Rs 20-25 crore. In the meanwhile, there is no change in the creative mandate, which continues to remain with McCann Erickson.

It may be recalled that Madison had christened its second media agency Platinum Media in 2008. The agency is headed by Basabdatta Chaudhury and is headquartered in Delhi. The agency recently appointed Radhesh Uchil as its General Manager, who would be based in Mumbai and heading the Mumbai operations.
