Percept Hakuhodo has been assigned the creative duties for Daikin Air-conditioners. Industry sources have pegged the account size in the region of Rs 20 crore. It is known that no multi-agency pitch preceded the win. Dentsu Marcom is the incumbent agency.
Confirming the win to exchange4media, Amitabh Lahiri, VP, Percept Hakuhodo, said, “The reason we won this business was due to the way we approached the strategy and creative for the air-conditioners. That’s where the difference was created. Daikin is a much larger icon in life. The brand occupies a higher order in consumers’ minds.”
He further said, “We are very excited to work on the brand, and since I have worked on this category earlier, my knowledge also helped in winning this business.”
“It is a 360-degree account comprising print, TV, OOH, Internet and BTL activities. The campaigns will be released in a month’s time,” Lahiri added.
