Pearl Media makes slew of appointments, Vineet Gupta joins as National Sales Head

Pearl Media, the media sales arm of Century Communication Ltd, has appointed Vineet Gupta as National Sales Head. Prior to this he was working as Senior Manager, Ad Sales, with STAR News.

Gupta has over 10 years’ experience in sales and marketing. His earlier stints include working with Zee TV Network, Onjus and India TV. As National Sales Head, he would be responsible for marketing and new business acquisitions for Pearl Media and would supervise sales nationally.

Besides Gupta, Pearl Media has also made some other appointments. These include: P V Gayathri, who has joined as Regional Manager, South, Ad Sales (she was previously with STAR India), Natasha Kapoor as Head of Media Research and Analysis (she was earlier with Mindshare Fulcrum), Manish Lopes as Head of Revenue and Inventory Management (he was earlier with Walt Disney Television International India), Gautam Bordoloi as Assistant Manager, Ad Sales, (he was earlier with CNN-IBN), and Partha Sarthi Kuila also as Assistant Manager, Ad Sales (he was previously working as Senior executive with STAR TV).

Speaking about the new appointments, Sanjay Reddy, CEO, Pearl Media, said, “Pearl Media is expanding its horizons and we are delighted to have such good people on board. With their vast experience and knowledge, we are confident that they would help Pearl Media escalate its business to greater heights.”

Pearl Media handles air time sales, television software, outdoor media and radio ad sales. Pearl Media currently clocks revenue of around Rs 70 crore. With the consolidation of the sales division along with an entry into new media sales activities like outdoor, radio and new media, Pearl Media expects to emerge as a multiple media vehicle providing a one stop solution for all media sales activities.
