Partha Sinha joins Publicis India as exec Vice President

Partha Sinha, the ex Director Marketing, Zee TV is back to his roots - to the world of advertising. He joined Publicis India as Executive Vice President effective today. In addition to heading the agency's Mumbai operations, he would also look after national strategy planning.

A visibly excited Sinha says, "For me it is like home coming. I have spent maximum time and have had greatest fun in the field of advertising. I am all charged up to shoulder my new responsibilities. Publicis' Indian operations are at an interesting juncture and I am sure the future is exciting". Sinha started his advertising career with Rediffusion DY&R, and moved on to work as Vice President, Planning at O&M. He later had a stint with Indiainfo.com, before moving on to ZEE.

Bharat Dhabolkar, Managing Director, Publicis India says on the appointment, "Partha brings with him rich experience of marketing and strategic planning. Publicis India is on a tremendous growth path and Partha can infuse the necessary vitality and leadership for that".

Some of the major clients being handled by Publicis India are L'Oreal, Nestle, Hewlette Packard, Compaq, Tata Tea, Tata Chemicals, Hero Honda, Apollo Tyres and now Vicks.
