Delhi-based Oxygen Communications, a four-year-old creative studio, has bagged the creative duties for Kyndal India, which includes well-known brands such as Absolute Vodka, Cointreau, Dalmore and Remy Martin. Incidentally, Oxygen has been handling the wine brands of Kyndal India for the last three months.
Commenting on the new win, Oxygen Communication Executive Director, Tarun Das, said, “It was a déjà vu. Oxygen had been awarded three wine brands (to be launched very soon) by Kyndal. And shortly after some temporal lobe epilepsies effected by the work produced for the launch of the wine brands, they decided to pull out the other major brands marketed by Kyndal and give them to us, which include Absolut, Remy Martin, Dalmore, Vladivar, and a brand of Tequila.”
Das further said that the trial here was to come up with a 360-degree (multiplied by five) communication plan for this stunning new family of products. We had to juggle with different attitudes and brand values and come up with some innovative ideas to drive home some good communication. The spirits were flowing high at Oxygen, so after few weeks of soul searching, conference room storms and litres of midnight oil we were able to drink up all the cases at Kyndal!”
He added that the print ads would be coming next month in all the major newspapers all over India. The TVC would be breaking in October. Absolut will be launching next month. The outdoor ads are breaking in all the major metros next month. Kyndal’s wine brands will also be launched next month.
Kyndal, a wholly owned subsidiary of Whyte & Mackay Plc, was formed two years ago as a marketing and distribution company, and it has entered into an alliance with Shaw Wallace for secondary marketing of some of the premium brands in the world.
