New Delhi-based Oxygen Communications, a four-year-old creative studio, has bagged the creative duties for Kyndal India, which plans to launch three new brands of Indian wines.
Oxygen Communication Executive Director, Tarun Das, said, “We have always wanted to work for clients who appreciate and value creativity, and we realised that Kyndal would be such a client during our first meeting itself. Oxygen’s role for this business would go much beyond above-the-line communication. In fact, it will be 360-degree in the true sense of the term, and we are looking forward to this challenge.”
Aniruddha Mukherjee, Oxygen’s Director-Communication Design, commented, “The size of the business is substantial, though it would not be appropriate to disclose numbers at this juncture.”
Kyndal India Regional Director, Siddharth Banerji, said, “We are really happy to have Oxygen on board. We are confident that they will help us with the wine project and our other brands.”
Kyndal’s domestic operations, which started in 2001, are divided into trading in imported brands and locally bottled business, where it has a manufacturing and distribution pact with the country’s second largest spirits company, Shaw Wallace. Two of Kyndal’s brands – Vladivar Vodka and Veba, a ready-to-drink offering – are locally bottled for select markets.
Oxygen’s portfolio includes leading brands like Havell’s India, CII, Rohtas Group, Forks N Spoons, Fluxion Group, Kwality restaurants, NIE, Ventura Enterprises, Sarda Plywood, Sudarshan Overseas and Ind Home Fashion.
