Sameera Dowerah has joined Orchard Advertising as Creative Director at the agency’s headquarters in Bangalore.
She will partner Sagar Prajapati, also Creative Director, in leading the creative function in Bangalore. Her last stint was with Rediffusion – Y&R.
Commenting on her appointment, Dowerah said, “Orchard over the years has created a niche for itself. That smart, sensible, quiet yet witty kid in class? That’s Orchard for me. Its work reflects this too. It’s always been simple, yet smart and witty. Perhaps the reason why the communication they created is still remembered.”

Sameera comes with 12 years in the business and has worked on brands such as Arrow, Reliance Jewels, the USL portfolio, Amante, Mantri Square. Prior to Rediffusion-Y&R, she was with McCann Erickson, Bangalore where she worked on TVS Scooty, Scooty Pep, Kwality Walls and JTI. The other categories she has worked on include real estate, personal grooming, information technology and financial services.
