Oppo Mobile awards its media mandate to Starcom Mediavest

Oppo Mobile has awarded its media mandate to Starcom Mediavest on the back of a multi-agency pitch. The pitch was initiated a couple of months ago. The account size is estimated to be around Rs 90 – 100 crores.

"We are delighted and proud to have been selected by Oppo Mobile as their Media Agency on Record. They are a fantastic brand and make outstanding products of the highest quality. We look forward to partnering them in driving exponential growth in the Indian market" - said Malli CR, CEO, SMG India

MEC is the incumbent agency on the account. The brand was in the news last year for signing up Hrithik Roshan and Sonam Kapoor as brand ambassadors. Both the Bollywood actors were an integral part of the brand’s launch campaign.
