One Show update: 23 Indian entries among the finalists

The One Club has announced the One Show, Design and Interactive finalists for the 2012 awards. This year, 23 entries from India have made it to the list.

DDB Mudra leads with six of its entries among the finalists. Three of DDB Mudra’s entries are in the One Show: Collateral - Posters – Single category for client PE Electronics. The three works are titled Rubik’s Washing Machine, Rubik’s Refrigerator and Rubik’s Microwave.

DDB Mudra’s work for client Union Bank of India titled, Blueprint is a finalist in the One Show: Newspaper - Small Space Print – Campaign category. Another work for Union Bank of India titled, Bouncing Mail has been shortlisted in the One Show Design: Collateral Design – Promotion category. The agency’s work titled, Iconic for Volkswagen is a finalist in the One Show Design: Collateral Design - Posters – Single category.

Leo Burnett’s entry titled, Fisherman for Proctor & Gamble features in the One Show: Newspaper - Full Page or Spread – Single category. The agency’s much appreciated work, titled Gandhijifont - Now in Hardcover has made it to the list in the One Show: Self-Promotion – Single or Campaign category.

Ogilvy & Mather’s work titled, Word Game done for client Organ Retrieval Banking Organisation has made it to the list in the One Show: Public Service - Outdoor and Posters – Campaign category. Meanwhile, the ‘You save one, you save more than one’ campaign done for WWF India has been shortlisted in the One Show Design: Public Service - Outdoor and Posters – Campaign category.

Wieden + Kennedy’s Handmade in Chennai ad for client Royal Enfield is a finalist in the One Show: Consumer Television - Over 60 second – Single category. The agency’s Onboard Food Packaging work done for IndiGo Airlines has been shortlisted in the One Show Design: Package Design – Campaign category.

TBWA\India has three entries shortlisted in One Show Design list. Two of these are for client Imagine, titled Fingerprints in the One Show Design: Collateral Design - P.O.P. and In-Store – Campaign and One Show Design: Collateral Design - Posters – Campaign categories.
TBWA\India’s entry titled, Elephant Combs for MKV Household Products is a finalist in the One Show Design: Branding - Logo Design category.

Two of McCann Worldgroup India’s entries have made it to the One Show Design finalists list. The work titled, Happy Indians for Perfetti Van Melle India has been shortlisted in the One Show Design: Package Design - Package Design – Campaign category, while the work titled, The lighter sides of heavy weights done for Young President Organisation has been shortlisted in the One Show Design: Direct Mail – Single or Campaign category.

Two of Out of the Box’s entries – logo designs for UPDN Broking and Rembrandt Law Company – have been shortlisted in the One Show Design: Branding - Logo Design category.

Grey Worldwide India finds a place in the shortlist for the One Show Design: Corporate Identity – Individual Item category for its work titled, Underwater Photography done for Colston Julian.

BBDO India’s work done for the Launch of White Collar Hippies is a finalist in the One Show Design: Outdoor Design - Transit – Campaign category.

JWT India finds a place in the list for the One Show Design: Collateral Design - P.O.P. and In-Store – Campaign category for its work done for Lifestyle titled, Lifestyle Baddie Bags.

Mumbai-based freelance illustrator and designer Shailesh Khandeparkar’s work titled, Dwarf Depression done for Loving Hand Ministries has been shortlisted in the One Show Design: Public Service - Outdoor and Posters – Campaign category.

The One Show Awards will be given away during Creative Week, to be held in New York from May 7 to 11, 2012.
