OMS appointed integrated media agency for mobile payment service ZipCash

Optimum Media Solutions (OMS), the independent media arm of the Mudra Group, has been appointed to handle the integrated media duties of ZipCash, a mobile payment service that provides an SMS-based payment mechanism. The win comes following a multi-agency pitch. ZipCash has recently launched its new multimedia and on-ground campaign in Mumbai.

Vivek Saxena, Co-founder, ZipCash, said, “During our meetings with them, we felt that OMS understood the need of ZipCash as a brand and of a start-up like ours. They also have strong thinking on non-conventional media, going beyond the traditional media opportunities.”

Alok Chawla, Co-founder, ZipCash, said, “We have found OMS very proactive and responsive in the time that we have worked with them – both in coming up with newer communication options and in terms of servicing our needs.”

ZipCash is an offering that does not need any software to be downloaded for usage on the phone. It is platform independent and hence, can work across multiple network operators, handsets and banks.

ZipCash is the latest addition in OMS’ kitty that includes clients like Reliance ADAG, Yatra, HBO, ICI Paints, Spice Mobile, Electrotherm, Hotspot Retail, LIC, Panasonic, SBI, HPCL, Air India, Zenith Computers, MTDC, Navneet Publications, Amway, Ravissant, Graviera, TTK, Sify, Jyothi Laboratories, RmKV Silks, Cycle Agarbathis, Shobha Developers, Amrutanjan, ACC Cements, Paragon and MTV Network, among others.
