Sikkim Manipal University Directorate of Distance Education SMU DDE, the public private initiative of Manipal Education, has launched a massive ad campaign to promote distance education. The ad has been created, conceptualised and executed by O&M, Bangalore.
This campaign has been launched simultaneously through a multi-media campaign across the country covering all media and promotional activities. The communication attempts to encourage young and discerning youth, who have taken up early employment, to hone their skill sets by taking up higher education.
Speaking about the campaign, Sivaramkrishnan, Principal Officer of SMUDDE, said, “The campaign speaks clearly about the attitude of today’s youth, they are focused and highly career centric. These focused youngsters, who have missed out on regular education for personal, circumstantial reasons and feel the need to enhance their skills to climb up the career ladder, they do so, by taking up higher education.”
“SMU DDE has taken distance education to the next level by empowering students with EduNxt, which offers world class platform for students to access videos of lectures, discuss with their classmates and lecturers,” he added.
