O&M adjudged the ‘Creative Agency of the Year’

At the glitzy Abby Awards function, Ogilvy & Mather was adjudged the ‘Creative Agency of the Year’ notching 23 points in the final tally. With 9 points, Leo Burnett got the second position while Ambience D’Arcy scored 4 points by winning 4 silvers.

Ogilvy & Mather walked away with 19 Abbies —two golds and seventeen silvers— at the 35th All-India Awards for Creative Excellence in Advertising.

According to Mr. Ramesh Narayan, chairperson of the Abby Awards Function Committee, this year the Advertising Club of Bombay received a record number of 2,500 entries across the nation. The awards were presented in 26 categories.

Besides the usual categories, Abby 2002 also witnessed a new Indian Newspaper Society ‘Think Print’ campaign category.
