Ogilvy PR tie up with Dua Consulting for legal services

Ogilvy PR has formed a strategic alliance with Delhi-based Dua Consulting, a leading legal and regulatory firm, to offer clients regulatory and public affairs services.

This offering is in response to a growing need for expert intervention with government, regulatory and third parties, and is in line with Ogilvy PR's portfolio of services worldwide.

The alliance of the two firms combines Ogilvy PR's communication skills with Dua Consulting's experience in formulating entry strategy, gaining regulatory approvals, and interfacing with Central, state and local level authorities.

The services will include strategic consultancy for Government interface and management of bureaucratic processes, policy mediation counsel, corporate social responsibility counsel and crisis management. According to sources the requirement for these services could come from the IT sector, from a traditional manufacturing firm or a firm that has to deal with taxation and excise policy.

The two firms have worked together on ad hoc basis before, and the formal agreement was finalised about a month back. The Delhi office of Ogilvy PR will offer these services to begin with.
