Ogilvy bags creative mandate of Kohler India

Kohler India has appointed Ogilvy as its creative agency for its Kitchen and Bath business. The appointment followed a multi-agency pitch involving the top five creative agencies in India. The pitch process was kicked off in November 2012 and was concluded by January 2013, shared an official release.

Commenting on the appointment, Salil Sadanandan, Managing Director, Kohler Kitchen & Bath India said, “Ogilvy is the name behind some of the most memorable ad campaigns for brands across diverse categories in the country. We welcome them on board and look forward to working on some great campaigns together.”

The account will be handled out of Ogilvy’s Gurgaon office.

Talking about the brand, Prateek Srivastava, Group President, O&M said, “We are delighted to get an opportunity to work with Kohler. It’s a sharp and aspirational brand. Besides it’s always a pleasure to work with a company whose business is also about creativity and aesthetics.”

Kohler started its corporate and marketing operations in India in 2005. As a brand, Kohler firmly believes in meshing art and advanced technology to create new products. Innovation is the core of the Kohler business and has always been the hero of communication across products, added the release.
