Ogilvy Activation was launched in the middle of 2004 with the mission to offer seamless out-of-home solutions and deliveries to the clients. The organisation believes that they have achieved this to a great extent with certain businesses and that too with very encouraging results. However, as the need of the hour is to accelerate the process, a few changes have been undertaken.
The first step in this direction is to consolidate the teams and reduce the silos within Activation. Pratap Bose, President, Ogilvy Activation said, “Today, we have four units – Outreach and Live for interactive communication, and Landscapes and Signscapes for static. Ogilvy Activation will have interactive and static specialists with immediate effect. This will help us leverage our individual strengths of expertise, servicing and logistics support, and I am confident that this will also open new business opportunities. The idea is to get the teams to work closely and close in the gaps.”
Anurag Gupta, National Head, Planning, Ogilvy Activation, will take the additional responsibility of heading the Interactive team nationally while still being the planning resource for Activation India.
Sandip Bansal, Country Head, Ogilvy Outreach and Raj Kamboj, Logistics Head, Ogilvy Outreach, will now jointly champion the logistics management for the Interactive part of the business. Bharat Damani, Business Director, Ogilvy Signscapes, will now work closely with the Landscapes team and draw on their collective strengths in order to make a real difference in the retail environment.
Speaking on the target for next year, Bose said, “For the next year, our primary focus will be to increase bandwidth, ensure delivery, and strengthen our offerings.”
