Obituary: JWT’s Maneesh Rangra passes away

Maneesh Rangra, Executive Business Director, JWT Delhi, popularly known as ‘Ranga’ by peers, passed away early morning on December 27, 2011. He had been suffering from brain tumor for the last few years and was undergoing treatment for the same. He is survived by his wife Gauri and two children. The cremation took place at 1 pm in the afternoon on December 27.

Rangra had started his career at JWT as a trainee and rose up the ranks to Executive Business Director. He had been working at the same agency for more than 15 years.

Friends close to Rangra informed that he was a bright star at the agency and a person loved by colleagues and clients alike. Rangra was working on the Airtel business before he took ill. He was also a part of the global team at JWT that had worked together to pitch for the Nokia business globally.


Kranti Gada joined the family business at Shemaroo in 2006 after a successful stint of over two years in marketing at Pepsi Co. She has been associated with the company for 12 years.
