Now Snapdeal appoints BBH as its creative agency

Ecommerce major Snapdeal has now appointed BBH as its creative agency. FCB Ulka and Leo Burnett have been doing work for Snapdeal in the past, exchange4media had exclusively reported last year that Snapdeal was ‘meeting’ creative agencies despite having two agencies on their roster.

“We have been engaged with Snapdeal since the last few months, and have recently started working on the brand. It is a big win for us, Snapdeal is a very powerful ecommerce player and we are delighted. Said Subhash Kamath Managing Partner BBH.

The new communication from BBH is expected to be out sometime in April.

“The challenge is how to differentiate the brand among its competition, given the current ecommerce market place and the numerous choices consumers have today” added Kamath.

Snapdeal decided not to renew its contract with Aamir Khan post the heat Khan faced with the entire Intolerance controversy in February this year, the brand had then decided not to replace him with another celebrity but streamline their ad – expenditure.
