“We build every project with only one assumption: everything matters,” says Asheesh Sethi, President, Noshe Oceanic. That pretty much sums up the ambitious plans of the agency.

With competition intensifying and advertisers being more selective in what they want to pitch for, time has come to expand one’s horizons. Sethi said, “We have been doing retail for over two decades. We have 140 retail clients, including Catmos, Chabarra 555, CTC Plaza, Kalpana, Fitness World and Standards Max, among others. Now, we are looking to foray into the SME sector, FMCG, education and real estate in a big way.”

“Our turnover for the FY08 was Rs 80 crore, and we are now looking at reaching Rs 150 crore in FY09. We are strengthening our creative skills and adding more people at senior the creative level to enhance our workforce. For the first time we would be doing television commercials, which would help us achieve our turnover target for this fiscal,” revealed Sethi.

He further said, “We are the only agency currently offering in-house TVC production to our clients and are aggressively working on the electronic media. We are doing all kinds of work in the electronic media – right from conceptualisation and production of TVCs, exposure of TVCs on various TV channels, commercials, sponsorships, cinema, etc.”

Talking about the challenges and opportunities currently faced by smaller agencies in India, Sethi said, “Big fish eats the small fish, so it is going to be extremely tough for small agencies to be in business unless they evolve. Evolution is the key to progress and Noshe Oceanic would work towards carving a niche for itself and create wonders in advertising industry.”

Noshe Oceanic has recently added clients like WTP Rajasthan, real estate group Rohtas and educational institute Galgotias to its kitty. The agency is now looking at roping in bigger names, besides opening offices in Tier II and Tier III cities as well as consolidating and moving the head office to a bigger space in Delhi.
