Noshe Oceanic eyes billings worth Rs 150 cr in 2009

The economic slowdown notwithstanding, Noshe Oceanic has claimed to be growing at a rate of 50-60 per cent on a year-on-year basis. Speaking to exchange4media, Asheesh Sethi, President, Noshe Oceanic, said, “The agency has set a target of Rs 150 crore in billings for 2009, and by 2010, the billings are expected to be in excess of Rs 200 crore. Noshe is rapidly expanding and by 2010 will have eight offices in the metros. The aim is to establish 25 successful offices and representations by 2012 with a people strength of 150. Today, Noshe is a one-stop solution for the advertising needs of any client and works with 140 clients and has capitalised billings of Rs 80 crore.”

Sethi further said, “The new clients that Noshe has bagged include Mid-Day Publications, Rohtas Projects Ltd (Plumeria), UP Township, Rathi Steel, World Trade Park, Galgotia Educational Institutions, Groversons, Om Book Shop, Rohit Surfectants, and Schablona from Somany Tiles, to name a few. The expansion is in keeping with Noshe’s plans to expand in the real estate, FMCG, SME and education sectors right from the beginning of 2008.”

According to him, “2008 has been a mixed bag for the advertising industry. The bad news is the same that faces the entire industry. The impact of the all-time low market sentiment has affected the advertising sector as well. Although retail is going through a pause mode, Noshe’s expansion has ensured a busy year. Over the years, the aggressive retail agency has evolved to diversify into core areas of real estate, education and SMEs, among others. It is during hard times like these that agencies like Noshe make their mark since their philosophy is one of innovation and creativity, and Noshe has always carved a niche for itself in any sector that it has made forays into. One only has to follow the brand development of properties such as Spaze and Plumeria to understand Noshe’s levels of 360-degree communications.”

Noshe Oceanic also launched an audio-visual production house during the year and has already bagged several new clients. The production house has helped the agency produce cutting edge and cost-effective TVCs and corporate films for clients like Spaze, Plumeria, and Rathi Steel in the newer sectors, and also for Chhabra 555, CnM, Paul Garments, Kalpana Sarees, and Galgotia’s Educational Institutions, among other clients.
